Bikepacking Ireland and Northern Ireland in photos
This year I tried to go through places I hadn't seen before. However, it's getting harder and harder. I've already cycled around the Island of Ireland twice, but I still managed to see quite a few new and beautiful places - especially in Co Donegal, which almost finished me off with its mountains. Still, after a few days, I got used to the constant climbing and even liked it more, especially since there's a descent from every hill, and some of them were EPIC! Sometimes a few kilometres down a loaded bike at full f..k speed ;), it was quite literally a death wish, any fault or bigger hole in the road and bye-bye, finito, kaput. But somehow I survived richer with memories and experiences that I'll never forget and no photos, even the best ones, will be able to capture this atmosphere, the beauty of the landscape and at the same time everyday challenges, especially since summer hasn't come to Ireland for the second time in a row. Anyway, this is probably the last longer trip around Ireland, I've been almost everywhere in the previous 4 years.
